Page White Farrer Patent Attorney Andy McKinlay will be taking part in the Department for Business and Trade’s Made in Yorkshire, Sold to the World Exporter Roadshow on 13th November.
Made in Yorkshire, Sold to the World is a free in-person event that will celebrate Yorkshire as a place of innovation and encourage the region’s businesses to grow through overseas trade. Organised by the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade alongside Insider Media, it forms part of International Trade Week, an annual programme of events which help UK businesses to develop their exporting skills, learn about global opportunities and understand the support available. The event will demystify barriers to selling internationally and equip businesses with the tools and knowledge to access new markets and grow globally.
Andy, who is based in our Leeds office and has worked in IP since 2013, will be participating in the event as a panellist, explaining how businesses can protect their intellectual property when trading internationally.
