Congratulations to our attorneys who have been promoted

Page White Farrer is pleased to announce the promotion of three promising European patent attorneys in our London office.
Thomas Mahon has been promoted from an associate to a senior associate. Primarily handling patent applications in the UK and Europe, Thomas has experience of drafting and prosecuting patent applications and he assists in the management and development of patent portfolios, including working with clients to identify and capture new inventions.
Matthew Codd and Catriona Collerton have been promoted from technical assistants to associates. Both have worked at the firm for many years, joining shortly after leaving university.
Matthew drafts and prosecutes patent applications for businesses ranging from start-ups to multinationals. He is also involved in advising clients on matters relating to infringement.
Catriona comes from an engineering consultancy background which has provided her with a solid grounding in complex mathematical and physical theory, enabling her to draft cases in advanced technical areas including AI, blockchain and image processing.
All three attorneys recently took their European Qualifying Exams and passed with flying colours, qualifying as European Patent Attorneys.
‘We are delighted to announce these well-deserved promotions,’ says partner Jeff Daniels, ‘Thomas, Matthew and Catriona are all invaluable members of the team. It is wonderful to see our attorneys progressing through their careers.’
