Emma Berry

Emma joined Page White Farrer in September 2022 after receiving a 1^st class master’s degree in theoretical physics from the University of Leeds.

 

Areas of focus included:

• astrophysics;
• biological physics;
• medical physics;  and
• quantum physics.

 

Emma’s final year project focussed on the quantisation of light in one-dimensional position space and applying the method to find the origins of the Casimir effect. The key modules that were completed in her final year include general relativity, quantum field theory and advanced bio-nanophysics research.

 

Working in the software team Emma is focussing on AI and software, supporting both start-ups and multinationals, with her strong mathematical and physics background enabling her to work in high-tech areas such as machine learning and robotics.
