Matthew has been working at Page White Farrer since September 2016 and qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2021. He has a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath, and a master’s degree in Photonic Systems from UCL.
Following his master’s degree, Matthew went on to work in the Institute for Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge, where he worked on various aspects of high-precision manufacturing, including laser machining and processing, ultrafast laser-material interactions, and focussed ion beam processing.
Matthew mostly works in application drafting and IP prosecution for patent applications in the UK, Europe, and the US, working with clients ranging from large multi-national corporations to SMEs.
