Matthew has been working in intellectual property since 2014, after he graduated from the University of Manchester (Master of Physics) and began working at Page White Farrer. While at Manchester, he studied a wide range of topics including laser technology, semiconductor physics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics and relativity, and conducted a year-long project in which he characterised the response of a novel bioaerosol spectrometer.
His professional experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications for businesses ranging from start-ups to multinationals. Matthew has also had involvement in advising clients on matters relating to infringement.
