Ph.D (University College London) Cognitive Neuroscience
M.Sc. (Sussex) Experimental Psychology
B.Sc. Hons (Leeds) Neuroscience
Sarah joined Page White Farrer in March 2024 after completing postdoctoral studies in Neuromorphic Engineering. Prior to this, she worked in industry R&D, with a focus on applied AI and blockchain technologies.
Sarah has a background in Cognitive Neuroscience (PhD from University College London) with a focus on neuroimaging (EEG). She also previously worked as a clinical scientist specialising in electrodiagnostics.
Following her PhD, she undertook an industry fellowship in FinTech R&D, building digital solutions for several large banks. She then worked within applied AI and Innovation for JP Morgan, before starting her own R&D consultancy specialising in blockchain solutions for science, data and AI.
Sarah is particularly passionate about brain-inspired technologies, including neuromorphic computing and spiking neural networks. She has first-hand experience building these systems during her postdoctoral studies, where she focused on designing novel AI (leveraging principles of active inference and neurodevelopment) for use in robots.
